HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE BOROUGH OF SAYREVILLE

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Housing Authority of the Borough of Sayreville will accept 100 applications for its Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program waiting list. Applications will be available on-line at www.sayrevilleha.org starting May 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. and ending May 30, 2021 at 10 p.m. If more than 100 applications are submitted, applicants will be selected via a lottery which will be processed electronically through the Authority’s tenant software program. The lottery drawing will randomly select 75 Sayreville residents (applicants who reside or work in Sayreville), and 25 non-residents. Sayreville residents chosen in the lottery will need to provide documentation of residency in order to maintain their place on the waiting list. The Authority reserves the right to reject any applicant it determines cannot provide adequate verification of residency.

Elderly and/or disabled persons wishing to apply that require assistance with the application process can contact the Authority at (732) 721-8400 for assistance Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Eligible applicants must be 18 years of age or older and meet the following Housing and Urban Development Income Limits:
