HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE BOROUGH OF SAYREVILLE

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

 

The Housing Authority of the Borough of Sayreville (SHA) will accept online pre-applications for its Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program waiting list starting 9:00 AM, Monday, January 26, 2026, and ending at 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 29, 2026. Pre-applications will be available on-line only at http://www.sayrevilleha.org

If more than 100 applications are submitted during the period the waiting list is open, applicants will be selected via a lottery which will be processed electronically through the Authority's housing software program. The order of the waiting list will be determined by lottery and preference points.

 

Below are the annual income limits for program participation (2026):

2 Persons        $61,400                               6 Persons                   $89,000

3 Persons         $69,050                              7 Persons                   $95,150

4 Persons         $76,700                              8 Persons                  $101,250
